If they want secure reliable “green energy” whatever the hell that is, it should be mandated that 100% of the vehicle is manufactured in the USA. They can assemble it wherever they want but the microchips and batteries etc should be made here to insure continued supply uninterrupted.

Electric is less than 3 % of the vehicles on the road in this country... just like the same number of people who actually identify as gay or lesbian..
yet the left wants you to think its much higher, and you're holding back their new world order and their "enlightened" perspective.
DemocRats always think high prices on ANYTHING makes their world better by allowing them to be in control and causing the problems, like anything else, so we need them to administer all their screw ups to supposedly make it all better...
as soon as they might get what they want, they'll change that also, and start a new "green" disaster for them to administer, and raise pricing for electric vehicles also...
democRATS entire platform is to create problems, and then move in to administer the programs... and lying to the public about the problem, when they are the ones that created it....

Majority of Americans Think Biden is LyingPoll: Majority of Americans Believe Biden Admin Is Intentionally Letting Gas Prices Skyrocket Perhaps people believe this because members of the Biden administration keep coming right out and saying that we are “transitioning” off of oil and gas. He is simply making good on his campaign promises. Problem is no one was listening.

He absolutely wants higher gas prices so we can “transition” away from fossil fuels. Butthead!
What did his idiot friends think was gonna happen?
I’m preaching to the choir but take food…. Requires fuel to mine and make steel for tractors, combines and tractor trailers and trains. Then fuel for those machines to plow and plant. Fuel to produce fertilizer, herbicides, insecticides and then to apply it. More fuel to harvest, package it and move it where it needs to go.
The grocery stores didn’t pop up out of the ground. All the materials to build it took energy to produce, transport, etc. Chances are the energy for refrigeration and lights did not come from a windmill either.
Look around the room and just think, practically everything you see is made from, manufactured with, or moved to the place of purchase with some form of fossil fuel. It’s an integral part of our lives. Every plastic thing on earth, cosmetics, etc. Fossil fuel is pretty much in everything or used to transport everything, it is the lifeblood of our economy, and these idiots think we can transition away from it like turning off a light switch. Even funnier, they think they can hurt the Big Oil companies by waging war on them. Big Oil could just let us and them all starve and die in an economic disaster... Someone smarter in another country will buy the oil from them while our moron politicians and Liberal Dems take their stupid environmental stand and force it on us..
