Had a good friend, corrections officer, killed by a truck tire. It came off of a trailer almost 2 miles from where it hit him. Crossed 4 lanes of traffic, jumped 2 guardrails, and hit him square in the back. Dead in his tracks. That stopped the state DOC from working inmate crews along the interstate highways in N.C.
