Have had a Jumbo Joe for years. Can’t say I’d ever even thought of doing a pork butt on one.

I’ve smoked ribs on my jumbo Joe doing the snake method or whatever you like to call it. After getting a bigger trailer I just started hauling a 26” kettle around. I have smoked a butt on it several times. That said if we start camping more I’m pretty sold on your little pellet cooker. I sure like the idea of being gone riding horses for hours and not worrying too much about the meat.

This thing is kinda cool.

Makes the dogs nervous though.

I have this for the house but it's also the one I take everywhere I want to go/smoke. GF's house, camp etc. Fits easy enough in the car.

Did my first long cook with this yesterday. Single rack of baby backs at 225. Got a few questions for the pellet guys though. Every time this thing adds more pellets it smokes heavily with white smoke. Normal?

Also, towards the last hour and a half temps would jump up to 325 ish. Wtf? I shut it down and restarted and it seemed to settle down.

Ribs were in top 3 I’ve done so no complaints there.

The Traeger Tailgate looks neat.

I just have no use for an electric anything when I am camping.

Not sure you’d call this camping Jim. Have the trailer set up in a much cooler climate and just escape up there when it gets over 100 in the valley.

Makes good sense for that...hell...might have gone bigger yet then!
