A local paving company had a commercial that said, If you don't maintain your pavement it was your "Own Assphalt".

I’m still trying to find out about the HEB .. IIRC it's the founder's initials. H.E. Butt In 1972, when wandering around the first HEB I'd ever been in, trying to locate the beer coolers, I was informed by a cashier as long as Howard E. Butt was alive, there twernt no beer gonna be sold in any of his stores, period. Fast forward to 1991, one day after they planted Howard Sr. in the ground, the classified ad sections in the Houston Post and the Chronicle had exploded with about 15 pages worth of liquor license application notices for every one of their stores in Houston. Bet old Howard was turning over in his fresh grave.

There was a radiator shop in Austin, Texas. Don't remember the name, but their slogan was: "Best place to take a leak!"

Saw a restaurant/bar called "I don't Care", perfect for when you ask the wife where she wants to eat.

When I was a student at the Univ. of Arkansas, there was a honky tonk on the edge of town called "The Tea Table." No tea, just beer, set ups, dancing and fighting. L.W.
