I've read the instructions but to no avail with my Samsung phone. Everyone says it's easy and I've tried many times with Imgur. No luck. It's so frustrating and I've attempted for years.

What I've done with my IPhone 12

E mail pic to my yahoo account

Then down load it.....to my PC files

Then select that pic with my Imgur account and load it

I know enough about computers to be dangerous

this pic # 1 was with my phone....45 ACP

But......not a direct link ???????

Pic 2 is a drone pic.....downloaded from memory card to my PC files..then Imgur

Imgur works OK from a PC. For some reason the mobile App doesn’t give you the same choice’s of links. People way more “techie” than me me have told me Imgur picture posting is not doable from an i-Phone. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Postimage, as stated, is easy to use from all devices.

Imgur is certainly doable from iPhone. 95% of the time it’s what I use.

That said, postimage is easier if you don’t understand the 3 things this forum is looking for to post a picture.

Your broken link had a ?1 at the end of the picture string. I simply deleted the ?1 and it worked fine. Who knows where it picked that up at.

Do you use the Imgur App to acquire codes?

I use the post image app on my android, it's easy to use.

The app only gives the link.

With the link you have 2 options.

Option 1. Manually type [img] before the link and [/img] after the link

Option 2. Use the full editor response. Click the little button with the scenery picture in it. Paste the link in the pop up box. (This automatically does what option 1 did manually)





It took me longer to type all this than it takes to do either one.

Postimage for me .. I'm on a mobile phone and not very tech savvy and I can get that to work out the only trouble I have is if I don't have enough signal it then won't work or won't work fast enough.

NOBODY does a damned thing about it!....except direct us to some other site.
I POST PICTURES ON THREE OTHER SITES!!!!
1) hit download image
2) select image
3) post image
No having to visit another freakin' site to download and move the photo back here!
....and what's with having to go to another site to download an image? Are the site owners afraid they might get hacked?

Look! I can't break "100 straight" on the sporting clays, trap or skeet field, but it doesn't keep me from partaking of the sports.......but what you've done on THIS site is make it impossible for some of us to "easily" post OUR photos!
Why the hell should WE be excluded from posting OUR photos because we can't traverse YOUR electronic jungle!!!

Hate to tell you this, but it can be made MUCH easier! 😉
The other three sites I visit, I NEVER have to leave their site (go to "post.image") to post photos.
1) click "download image"
2) select image
3) post image

Postimages.org

Takes 25 extra seconds at the most. Probably less as the only extra step is punching in the web address and toggling back to here.
