A face only a mother could love. This right here. Workmanship is nice, but that stock, bolt shroud, and the unneeded brake are hideous.

Oh yes. Buy that and put it into a nice, but understated wood stock. Then take that thumbhole stock, slice it up into slabs and make a whole mess of pretty revolver grips.

On the positive side, you can take your time weighing the decision.

To be fair, Lawson was giving his customers what they asked for in the way of "California " styling.
Not my cup of tea, but to each his own.

I wouldn't mind having it but not at anywhere near that price. Paul B.

Worst part is the muzzle brake, everything else is actually very well done.

Beautiful piece of maple.
The stock, jeweling, mount, bolt handle, metal finish, bolt shroud, safety,......all pretty much a no go in my opinion.

Never got the thumb hole stocks. I guess some like them. I’ve never seen anyone hunting with one. I’d also buy the rifle for the action and barrel, throw away the muzzle brake and have a stock made.

That stock would need replacing right away.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

wtf ? a brake on a 7x57 ? that's as sissy as a can on a Creedmoor !
other than that, who'd pay $3900.00 for an old $100 action in a hideous thumbhole stock with probably an "air gauged" termater stake for a tube

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
