Anyone know of a shop that has one of the 7/8 scale Browning 1911 22's in stock, in Oregon?
Have tried NW Armory, Sportsman's warehouse, Cabela's and all the local shops.
I know the full sized Browning 1911 22LR has been discontinued, but can't even locate one of the smaller ones?
Thanks! Virgil B.

Got a local shop to order a Browning 1911 Black Label 22 LR for me!
It has a beavertail grip safety, skeleton hammer, wood grips, etc.
They had to get it from out of state, but it should be here Monday.
Can't WAIT to shoot this Pistol!

Very Jealous of you both and the Brownings. I tripped a while back and bought a sig that was on a table at a local club. Have always wanted a 22lr 1911. That was a huge mistake. It is made by a toy company that does air soft and the function is way below expectation for a Sig Sauer product. Previous owner made modifications to try to get it to work. Should have walked away. About the only good thing in the deal was three magazines and nice wood grips with the Sig logo. Expensive mistake for a set of grips. Huntsman…… as always with the great photos of dead stuff and 22’s I like. Enjoy the Brownings guys.
I used to only shoot shotguns and rimfires, then I made the mistake of getting a subscription to handloader.......

huntsman, I think mine will be similar to the one in your third picture, 'cept it will have a rail.
It should have the same grips.
Didn't really care about the rail, but it was my only option for getting one of these.

https://www.browning.com/products/f...11-22-commemorative-case-with-knife.htmlPicked up the case for this set at a yard sale recently. It cost me a whole dollar, which is why I picked it up. Anyone need/want it? 1911-22 and knife set, not the two pistol set. Probably fit in a flat rate box. Shipping cost only.
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

I know the full sized Browning 1911 22LR has been discontinued, but can't even locate one of the smaller ones? Go to the Browning website with the 1911 .22 page here: https://www.browning.com/products/firearms/pistols/1911-22.htmlClick on the pistol of your choice, click on "specifications", it will show the UPC number. Copy it. Go to gun dot deals here: https://gun.deals/Where it says "search keyword", paste the UPC number. It will show who has them in stock from cheapest to most expensive.

Anyone have experience with the composite frames on these? Any problems or quirks about them to be aware of?

Thanks Huntsman! Good to know.
Sure hope there aren't any problems with the composite frames on these!
Looks like that's what mine will be.
Gotta check the website again and see what the weight is of the composite models.
Am thinking it will be close to my Glock 44-22LR. Nice, handy all day "packin" weight!

Just looked up the weight of both the Glock 4422LR and the Browning 1911A1.
The Glock weighs .64 oz. more with empty mags installed!
Also interesting; The aluminum frame model Browning weighs the same as the composite model!
