Tikka recommended one of these to me a few years ago. Love it. I air up 33" tires with no problems. Worth the money and they last

Smittybuilt 2781 is a 5.65cfm compressor which is nearly double other "good" compressors.

I have one and a viair....the smittybuilt is much faster.

I agree. If you have a flat and a dead car battery, time to call for a roll-back tow truck.

I use my Viair 450 for my f-250 and RV Tires. It works great on both. Highly recommend for heavy duty use. For regular tires, I would recommend the Viair 88.

I keep a DC to AC power converter in each of my vehicles, so it the vehicle battery has enough power to start the engine and the alternater is charging the vehicle's battery I can charge the batteries for the air compresser, the jump box, my PC, my cell phone, etc. Proper prior planning dictates that you maintain your vehicle's emergency "stuff" periodically so that it works when you need it.

I had a cheap one from Walmart that rode in my old ford for probably 15 years. It always worked but was slow.

hope you'll be happy with it. Remember, if you use it for multiple tires, it may get hot. But mine keeps working.

Hard core off roaders seem to gravitate to the Viar, or ARB. But thinking the later is mounted. The berries is have on board air with a quick coupling mounted in the grill. Run a hose off that, even a quad hose that tops off all 4 tires at once.

Agree on the Viair. They are over priced for what they are, but you can usually find them on sale. They work great.

I seem to burn one up every 4-5 years. I don't know brands. Just consumable pieces of garbage.

A bicycle pump and a xattle prod to keep the hitch hiker from lollygaging.

I've got a small DeWalt air compressor that runs on a 60v battery. Next time I go out West hunting it might be coming with. It'd be handy.

Viair offers on board mounted

If you have the good location & don't mind scaring up $$$$

ARB on board runs $700 ish.....
