I have typically used Nosler or Norma brass but I bought 140 pieces of 300wsm "once fired" FC headstamped nickel plated brass from a guy on Rokslide a while back. I have no way of knowing for certain if they were once fired but a bunch of them had loose primer pockets. Another 10 or so needed to be trimmed as well. If these were really once fired, I would say FC brass are pretty soft. Probably not "once fired". I wouldn't buy from that guy again..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I've generally found FC brass to be pretty soft, over a couple of decades and multiple chamberings. It's decent brass that works fine, though. You just have to be careful with hot loads and accept the brass-life limitation.
