Gotta love those JES rebores.You could have spent $700 for a match grade rebarrel job and I doubt it would have done any better.Of course being a good shooter helps a lot too.You did good!

I'd like to have a 35. Even have a new set of dies and an donor lefty 30-06 waiting for the surgery. Trouble is I already have 270, 7mm, 308, 338, and 375 bullets in the inventory and I dread having to stock up on another caliber. I think the 35 whelan would be terrific but it's a hard sell when I have 5 rifles already using similar bullet weights.

I also have 270, 280. 30-06, 300 Win & Uktra Mag 338 Win & Laupa. 375 H&H as well

35 Whelen is an amazing chambering
