I use to weary of the Gen5’s but now think they are the best of the gen’s. I have a G19 Gen5 MOS with a Trijicon. Love that pistol. What advantages does that sight have over the Trijicon ?

Potentially none. LOL Time will tell.
It is designed to fit the MOS footprint so there is no need for a plate. This negates the need for taller sights so is a true plug-n-play if you have an MOS'd Glock. Internal battery, solar charge only, auto adjust, auto on. Size wise it's more comparable to the RMRcc than a Type 1 or 2.
Plenty of things to "what if" about it but at the same time it allows use of your existing sights so, we shall see... I have to say initial impression is that I'm impressed.
