Looked at 27 ammo places on the net and finally found a box of 100 gr Remington cartridges.

Brass cases that should be gold plated for what they cost.

Makes Weatherby ammo look reasonable !

Weatherby ammo is anything but reasonable.

And your point is? Handloading is the answer for this cartridge for years now. It's not something you can throw your money at and solve.

You already know that 22-250 are used as replacement brass. But 6.5 cread. are my favorite for resizing to 250 Sav.

The case is a little heavier and less neck folds in my experience.

I just sold a bunch of 250 Savage Ammo at the Pa Rendezvous very reasonable because I knew the guys I was selling them to. I still have 15 rounds of Rem 100 gr. cor-lokts. If somebody wants them PM me.

Two of my local big box stores had 250 and 300 Savage ammo in stock early this summer, 100 grain 250's and 150 and 180 300's in stock. Was in stores just browsing, didn't buy any as I reload for both calibers. Too pricey anyway for 20 round boxes, can't say if still in stock. Never have bought factory ammo for either caliber. 75/87 grain loads for the 250, 150 for 300 Savage. Started casting for the 300 some time back, bought a NOE mold (87 grain) for .257 bullets not long ago, going to cast for 250 Savage also. Neither caliber is really popular in my state as any deer hunting is not allowed with bottle neck rifle calibers. A few select straight wall cartridges. I just target shoot with my 99's and Rem 81's, although I have taken my scoped 99G 250 out coyote hunting some, have good accuracy out to 100 yds with Hornady 75 grain VMax's or 87 grain SP's. Also shoot a Ruger M77 250 Savage that is a tack driver at good yardage, a real coyote dropper.

40 a box is a good deal.

Haven’t seen any 250 ammo here for a long time.

Was in Tulsa this spring, found .35 Rem ammo at $55/box. I walked away.

$40 a box of Remington 100's is what it's been hanging at around here for years. My local shop did a transfer for me back in March and he had 3 boxes at $37. That was the cheapest I'd seen it since the big Midway sale.

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

I've got some Remington Cor Loks and Winchester silver tips. Shoot me a PM and we'll discuss.

Steve, thanks for the square deal on the 250 ammo.

Great dealing with you and hope for repeat business.
