I have had to stop shooting at a public range near here because there were (at various times) deer, elk, moose, or turkeys wandering among the targets. Our DWR for years has used helicopters and nets to capture moose as trade items to other states for mountain goats, bighorn sheep and such.
Utah is not a four-letter word. But we're full up, thank you. We're out of water for just one thing.
Let's blast that all over the internet for the whole world to see.

The word is already out in ways worse than you think. I was told Salt Lake City has a Homosexual community second only in size to San Francisco.
This is a store openly catering to homosexual men in the big mall just about one block from Temple Square.
The Mayor’s already a Democrat too.

This is where that choir sings from, turns out it’s called the Tabernacle (the Temple is under renovation, not very photogenic).
And the State Capital building is impressive.
The streets are clean and safe, minimal homeless.

I have read that over 80% of the Utah population lives in the SLC corridor and everytime I drive through there I am sure that number is close to correct. From entering north Ogden until leaving the south end of Springville area it just at 100 miles of congested 3 and 4 lane highway with most of it under construction it seems.

Glad you enjoyed your trip Birdie. The problem with UT is the Wasatch front is there’s now 2.7 Million people living there. SLC has become a liberal enclave and on the weekends, you get some hundreds of thousands trying to enjoy the great outdoors. It’s good you stayed away from 300 W where all the homeless encampments are because the worthless hide of a SLC mayor wants to be seen as compassionate. I have lived the majority of my life in this state but we’re going to head back north to SE Idaho. Too many Californians have moved here and are spoiling what Utah was/is.
Could a fella buy a few acres and build some tract homes, lets say 10 to the acre like they do in some places, and make a killing?
Caliotos, Potlandians, Seattleites, and maybe worst of all Chitcagoans and New Yawkers be flocking to them one could price them right.
The desert is a true treasure for him who seeks refuge from men and the evil of men. In it is contentment In it is death and all you seek (Quoted from "The Bleeding of the Stone" Ibrahim Al-Koni)

SE Idaho is filling up with Californians also. Boise gets a lot of press about Californians moving there but the Idaho Falls/Pocatello and outlying areas are getting a lot of them too. We are getting a noticable amount of them in central Idaho - they are like fleas they are infesting the whole state.
