Yeah that's interesting since she was conscious when they got her out, she even sat up on the stretcher at one point. I guess her lungs were so damaged that her brain was oxygen starved and shut down. Burning your lungs up is a terrible way to die.

Return to Paradise was descent was a descent movie. Excellent movie, Vince Vaughn and Joaquin Phoenix carried that film though. Anne was the weakest link. Dismissed!

Also I must add, when she sat up on the stretcher whilst being loaded into the ambulance her hair wasn't even singed at all. Pure smoke inhalation death.

She was struggling to stand up on the stretcher, even though she was strapped in. And her short blonde hair was not singed.

I spent a week in a burn unit a long time ago and it isn't a pretty place to spend time. Several of the patients in the ward died while I was there and it isn't a pretty thing to witness , even from several rooms away... I was lucky, only one hand was severely burned and I was able to walk away in a week. I wouldn't wish it on anyone and I'm having a hard time seeing any humor in it...
Apparently Ms. Heche made a mistake and she is paying the price for it. It's just a shame the people in this country who deserve to pay a price like this aren't equally effected in some way....
