Nice laminate there, and those aren't too common either. Here's my 9422 magnum in walnut.

Great wood, azzy. I prefer the uncheckered versions, like yours. It takes me back to the beater thutty-thutty of my miss-spent yute.

http://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/3628684/1Here's my 1894M. My TDS would just make you cry if you say what state it was in after loaning it to my brother in law and his kids. If I have have it re-blued, I'll post some pix. Lesson learned, never loan guns. Give them away as presents, but don't loan.

All my 94-22's are as new in the box , i take better care of my weapon than i do myself . The Trapper has a Compact 4 power Leupold on it .

Have you shot the trapper at all? If so how does it shoot compared to the standard 9422?

I shoot them all and the Trapper is just as accurate as the standard rifle and if i could keep just one it would be the Trapper.

Danggit, Woodsy. I wish mine was walnut..... Well, that plywood looks pretty good. Ain't gonna get wet and warp on ya.
The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.

Here is a 9422 Yellow Boy 22 Magnum I got yesterday from the estate I got the YB 22 lr from a couple weeks back. They made 4 or 500 of these but I am not sure on the number. I have a 9417 with the black and gray laminate stock coming also. Have a dealer wanting to get these from me.
