I've got a couple pair made from some kind of nylon or kevlar but I don't use them processing game. A small group of us get together one day every Oct. and press 15-20 bushels of apples for cider. I wear one then on my off hand while cutting apples in half before grinding them.

I've used a razor blade for work for 45 yrs, averaging on bad cut about every 11 yrs, don't see how someone can work wearing gloves when it comes to cutting stuff. I'd cut myself more if I wore a glove.

I bought some when I was on anti platelet and blood thinners a few years ago. Kind of funky cutting up deer with them on. Once off the meds I never wore them. In 35 years of cutting up game I can only remember cutting myself a few times. Never badly.

There are very few reasons I wear gloves. Processing fish and game is not among them.
