Nice Don. Worth the weight off the grid?

Greg, to me it is. A lot of us old bastids sleep better off the ground, and I'll not hunt elk without it. My tent sits on a slope and it's real easy to dig in the uphill legs in to level it up. Sure beats putting a log below you to keep from going down the hill. And if ya get the cot one or max, there are leg kits for them to make a regular cot outta them instead of a shorty. A lot better, if ya got the tent space for a full height cot....

Copy that Don. I saw the extentions too....
I hate sleeping on the ground more and more every years and I've always struggled with pads. I have to exert myself so much on backpack hunts that I don't even wanna eat back at the tent just to be able to sleep decent. But I can sleep well on a cot.
I also do a lot of 2-3 day coues excursions and a lightweight cot with a floorless shelter under 2 pounds to get me off the scorpions and snakes sounds appealing ..

5lb 11oz - Too heavy for backpacking. There are better cots for base camping. It's a non-starter for me. I suppose if horses were carrying the load they might make sense.
Wind in my hair, Sun on my face, I gazed at the wide open spaces, And I was at home.

What are you willing to give up for that comfort? It wouldn't be for a really serious backpack hunt. But if I add 3 extra pounds to a pack that is not a crazy strenuous pack in and I get to add quality sleep, game changer for some hunts I do and will do in upcoming years, for ME.... Thanks for the pics Don.

This wouldn't be a base camp cot. Guess I should have been more clear. Hell, my wall tent cot is likely 20lbs and I sleep like a baby. Grin.
