Yup it is in fact a harrow tooth. I walked behind a harrow many a days pulled by draft horses. 3 or 4 horses depending on the size of harrow. That was 65 - 70 years ago.

The modern harrow spikes are a bit different now.

These (in the box) bolt onto my ridged harrow.

I was always used to seeing them straight spikes on a harrow. But I found this one just below the cow pens in the old field that years ago was cultivated. When I was a kid they raised sorghum in it. That was 50 years ago!

Spike tooth harrow, worked great for finishing a big plot of cultivated ground, our dressing a pasture with a lot of manure piles, and gofer mounds, drug many horse and cattle pastures with a spike tooth still have a big one. Rio7
