Cutting wheel on the grinder exploded and I didn't bleed one bit. I never wore gloves in my younger days but I've noticed as I age my skin gets thinner and I cut easier so the last few years I started wearing these level 1 cut gloves, I gotta say I'm impressed. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/gallery/80/full/201793.jpg) Those gloves make your fingers [meat-hooks] look fat.

I think they cut slower, but I'm not needing speed. Never made a direct comparison.

A man I worked with. His dad was using a big grinder on some
welding project. Alone in the shop. He stretched the cords to
the limits and the grinder cord popped loose, wrapped around
his neck and caught up in the grinder. Found him choked to death.
Hard to believe, but true.

Good deal. I use a pair for a lot of stuff for the same reason - skin is delicate in my old age. I regret when I forget and poke or tear myself.
