I have brought a ryobi circular saw in to cut boards because they couldn’t find the time to do it. And I use their squares to do it.

I have also used their hand saws and miter boxes

I am also the guy that cuts the bottom third off the asparagus in the grocery store because I ain’t paying for the part I don’t use.

I also got punched by an old produce dude because I wheeled the banana rack around to take the greenish ones. I had the manager and cops roll the film and I got a free $1,500 smoker from HEB.

The guy hit like a puzzie but a punch is a punch, no do-overs !

The only advantage to a lowes over our locally owned establishments are their hours of operation. The Home Depot’s and lowes are certainly not less expensive.

Lots of good Mennonite and Amish owned places for me to go to. Golden Rule for lumber and Dewalt products, and Fairiview Farm Center for everything else.

No groids asking me "does you hab a myLowes card, or does you hab a miltary descount?"

I shop Menard's, Home Depot and Lowe's in that order, Lowe's is furthest from me therefor least often visited. I buy what I need and don't pay any attention to their politics, don't boycot any of them for any reason.

Your Lumber is right here, couple things, few 2xs, that the place.
Lowes and HD are 30 miles in 4 directions, where I go for better, quality.

Funny to hear so many mention 84 Lumber.
I'm 107 miles from 84 Pa, where they started and are headquartered.
Not damn store anywhere around here.

We have a Lowes and a Mom & Pop place. Rarely go in Lowes.
Mom & Pop place is probably 5% higher but it’s worth every penny to me not to have to deal with Lowes.
Mom & Pop place has drive-thru lumber yard. Just pull your truck up and load whatcha need.
Back when I was roofing they would jump in their pick-up and bring me a roll of felt paper or a couple sheets of OSB if we ran into some bad decking.
They also would put your shingles on the roof 6 days a week…..Lowe’s would only do it on Tuesday’s.


Might go in Lowe’s to get some spray paint or something.

I go to Home Depot locally. The employees at the nearest lowes are so rude I want to jam whatever I went to buy down their throat.

Just got back from the LowesDepot,1x3'' lumber had bark full rounded edges bark on 3' of the 8 foot piece. High price trash lumber
Plywood > ridiculous prices.
Insulation foam board beat all to hell.

Dumbasses already have Christmas stuff out and it's not even close to Halloween, sheesh

I usually just say fugg it and stop by the liquor store.

HD is all we have unless you want to go for an hr drive. Ours is staffed with generally normal people so G2G.
