I always thought it would be nice to have a 30/30 number one.

Exchipy that rifle looks great. It shot pretty reasonable, too. It was a sweet rifle. I traded it to a friend because I have another all-weather .30-30 single shot which shoots just as well, but is lighter carrying and quicker handling: All exposed steel parts are Black Nitride treated, except for the scope rings and iron sights.

Only 30-30 I have is a 1912 Savage 1899 Saddle Ring.OOPS, that doesn't belong here, sorry.

Sweet rifle! The RSI seems just about perfect for a 30-30 chambered big woods deer rifle.

I like the 30-30 but in a 94 Win. The RSI has nice wood, I see it has a kepplinger trigger, very nice.

first blood was today. 6 point with very wonkey rack. spike on 1 side and 5 on the other, all on that side were all bunched together in about 4 inches and then main beam went on for about 6 more inches. took to butcher, no pics. but pleased with how the 125 bt worked.

Congratulations. I never knew Ruger made a .30-30 in the No.1. Got to be a really nice rifle.
Why do I have to press 1, for English?
