The catastrophic damage from hurricanes occurs in that 10-50 mile area east of the eye. This is where the surge will be. Unless this girl sits in the Gulf another week,
there is no way she can be a bad storm.
Obviously, there will be plenty of people furious about losing internet and their fig seltzer getting warm for a little while.
