Very helpful thread. I have a 7-08 blr being turned into an integrally suppressed blr as we speak. I’ll likely use this as my primary deer gun. The smaller framed leupold’s look nice a nice fit on these guns

Tell us more about this, please! Who's doing it for you, how much does it cost, etc, etc?
if you put the smaller tube scope on your BLR you won`t have any problem with your open sights either. i did have quick release Leupold mnts. on my BLR but decided i like the 1-6x24 30 tube Burris scope with picatinny mnts. better .
10Glocks thanks for all the info you provided on this thread. I have a SS laminate 308 Takedown I purchased along with a Leupold VXR 2-7x33 and I had not thought of the talley steel rings.

Sure thing! I’m having SWS rifles out of the Houston area turn my Browning BLR into a suppressed lever gun. Having them do it in 7-08. They make fantastic integrally suppressed weapons. I’m pretty sure they are on all the major social media sites including YouTube.
I’m not exactly sure, I had them start 6 builds for me at the same time so I didn’t keep up with how much each build was. It’s certainly more than a suppressor + stamp. I did provide all the guns for my builds so that made it feel like I was spending less….so I tell myself lol

LOL. I'm excited for you. I want one myself now. Just can't decide on what caliber. I already have BLR's in .223 and .243 - so I don't know if I will get the .243 done or go with a 7mm-08. I am going to call them today and see if they can also do their suppressor on a BAR also.
Do they handle the suppressor stamp mess as part of the process? How long does it take?
Hey, y'all - I called SWS today and asked about pricing on their BLR integral suppressor package. If you send them a rifle, it's $2,500 - $2,750 depending on which forearm wood you have (the narrower forearm requires extra work. Considering that an off-the-shelf top quality suppressor is typically in the $1,000 range, I believe their price is reasonable. Expensive, yes - but reasonable considering the work that is probably involved. I'm not going to jump on a build right now, but may in the future.
I asked them if they could suppress a Browning BLR, but unfortunately they don't.
