Are you loyal to a power tool brand or do you buy what’s on sale? Mix and match? Depends on the tool?

I have Milwaukee and Dewalt and adapters to allow batteries to be used between brands. Buy whatever is on sale or has better reviews. With sale price being king.

I used to be a Craftsman guy but 15 years ago I went DeWalt and never looked back. All my power tools are DeWalt with the exception of my wood lathe, big bandsaw, and stationary table saw.

Brand loyalty is boomer tier mentality. I tend to buy whatever, and if it works well I buy another when it wear out. If not I try something else.

But objectively the DeWalt Flexvolt angle grinder is the best battery powered angle grinder ever made.

Makita. If I didn’t have Makita I would try Milwaukee but I do have a bunch of Makita tools and batteries.

200% about the batteries...

I scored a bucket full of 6Ah Ryobis... I love Ryobi...

I scored 1/2 a bucket full of 5Ah Makitas... I love Makita...

Have had good luck with and excellent service from Ryobi 18 volt equipment and I’ve got many of them. I use some of them several times weekly and the charger stays on a lot.

I never had much loyalty before but after buying some of the Milwaukee M18 stuff I don’t even look at anything else.

Ryobi makes an 18" vibrator?

I am super happy for you...

I buy Ryobi because I already have the batteries. It is cheap enough, works well enough, and holds up for my uses. YMMV
