These are the 9-3/8" and 10-3/8" . I will ask Nick to do a batch of the 8-3/8" version as I have one other client ( member here too) in the want . That is the size that Ricky says if he could only have one knife afield ,that's the one !

Here's a pic illustrating 3 sizes of this " Dumpling" ( Tony Bose ) pattern tweaked a bit by Menefee . Nick uses these 3 patterns, thanks to Rick
[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]

Other knife makers have also used Tony Bose's patterns and Rick Menefee's for this knife ,and I know of at least one other maker who has tweaked the pattern a bit. With handmade knives there will be variations too,for instance I have a medium size by Rick that falls in between the sizes shown above in between medium and the small boning.

I have to middle size Dumpling from Nick and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend one to anyone. It will dismantle a deer with ease, as well as breast a batch of pheasants. That handle style just wants to stay in your hand. I’m glad I picked one up from Vince. Gonna try a large one next, that’s just what a knife whore does.

Thanks, Vince. It showed up today. I like the handle material, it's closer to my big'un than the butterscotch woulda been. Too bad these makers send knives out in sheaths that are too big to fit the blade. The pouch is the same as the fullsize generic boner pouch from Larry Parsons. It took a bit of elbow grease to strip that damn sealer he uses and get the oil finish I prefer. A couple more coats of obenhaufs will have it as dark as the big brother.

Mine came yesterday. Thanks VinceM!

Shorty dumplin.

I asked for no leather sheath, I’d rather have kydex…
