My Chinese better half has reached her target weight, so gets to eat a little of above contraband. For me, riced cauliflower is as close as I get.

What fresh hell you putting Pappy through ??

Might as well, eat this !

OTOH, I eat all the beef, bacon, eggs, chicken (with skin), seafood, butter, avocados, and cheese I want. This was my idea, she just climbed on board when she saw me dropping weight rapidly. I don’t miss the carbs and I’m down two pants sizes so far.

How do you keep the pointy end in the right direction on its trip through your innards?

Thinly sliced beef, lots of onions and Golden Curry over white rice. Heck yeah!

This past season the family planted 1/2 of the 1000 acres we have. Guess I should get up there and figure out which dry field will be best for specks.

Do most people use stripper headers for rice?

No, way more conventional headers being used. When the cutting gets rank that’s how we roll too, but in gravy condition’s It’s cheaper to strip.[Linked Image from i.imgur.com][Linked Image from i.imgur.com]

The other day I bought a bag of Dragonfly brand Thai Sweet Jasmine, sticky rice. Darn good. Had it today with Italian meatballs, cold...

All our rice farmers are paid not to grow rice. They just take the money and let cows live on the fields. Kinda funny, since rice is a staple in Cajun country. Personally, I'd just as soon never see a grain of rice again.

Why does the field look like that? Rice straw?
