Care to share your finishing process for micarta? In other words do you sand to 600 and then buff? Apply any finish like wax or??

thanks....Jeff After it comes off the belt. 220, 360, 600, 1000, 2500 all while using lamp oil. Then lightly!!! Buff with pink polish at low rpm. For jigged knives I never buff. I use pink polishing paper by hand. If I hand help don’t hesitate. Best Rick Big Boner and Ribbing knife heading out. Jigged paper and Corncob micarta Distal taper from both ends. Cutting machines! Yesterday Rick asked me to post a video here showing the tapered tangs on these utility knives he's working on. Well I was able to get a link up but the sound of the video did not come through ,so you couldn't here what he had to say kinda made it pointless. My apologies for the failed attempt. The " edit " button on this post was available this morning so I have these shop pics ,neat stuff Rick !

Made to order for VCM knives. Hell of a set with the BEST Westinghouse blueline. I’ve ever saw. Distal taper from both ends around .010. Hollow ground on a 22 inch wheel. Hell of a set!

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

I thought the blue line was all gone? I hit pay dirt. It wasn’t cheap but I’ve got a load Glad you found some more at any price. It's great. I need to talk to you about another slim line trapper folder. I had the prototype, black jigged micarta and A2. I lost it hunting. It made me sick but I need another one. That was the best folding knife I ever owned
