Hard to say. When last I used them, I was quite a bit less demanding as I am now. Buying .22s was usually a boxor two at a time purchase, usually whatever the store had in stock. My first exposure to good stuff was when my late brother ponied up an incredible $400 for a Kimber 82, and started using Tenex. I tried Goldens, Vipers, and Stingers in my Mountie and 581. Settled on Stingers for killin’ stuff despite the flyers, Mini Mags became the regular choice.
Have quite a pile of also-rans now after getting the itch for accuracy; not sure I’ll ever burn them all up, but gonna give it a good try using my handguns,
