The guy is literally from Holland, and you’re trying to school him on Europe based on your vast experience in the Navy.. LOL! What I am saying is that I bought firearms in Europe when I was there and it was not difficult to do so. Lots of small gun stores there and a strong history of hunting and shooting. If someone wants a firearm only sold in Europe they can go over and get it if they want it bad enough. Holland isn't one of the nations I listed because I have never been to Holland but I have been to England, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, Greece, Cyprus, Crete and Turkey and other than the British Isles I could have easily bought firearms at any of them. I toured the Huglu Factory in Turkey and came real close to bringing a really nice side by side 12 ga home but we couldn't come to an agreement on price. Let's shut these guys up! Tell them which firearms were purchased from where exactly. That will show them! I have never been to Europe or in the Navy. Sounds easy.

No, but close. That’s actually an older Polyfade version that was offered in the US 2-3 years ago.

I want a Polyfade too. They have the slightly heavier CTR barrel contour… it is a nice rig!

May I ask, during what time period were these purchases made?

Yeah, I’ve been to all those places too, and I’d bet more recently. You spent quite a bit of your posts posturing about your superior Europe knowledge to a fugcking native European. That was funny. I don’t know what it was like way back when you were in the Navy in Portugal, but I can tell you how it is now- you have to have a Firearms Owners License, you need a psych review, an in-person LEO interview, and a 30 day waiting period. Your information is worthless, but entertaining. Jesus you sure are emotionally vested in this…
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

The guy is literally from Holland, and you’re trying to school him on Europe based on your vast experience in the Navy.. LOL! To be fair, things have changed since the European Firearms Directive came out, for a few countries anyway, but in any EU country you need a license to purchase a firearm of any kind. Could be a "waffenschein", i.e. the German Carry license, or just a hunting license (like in France, for example). None of those licenses are issued over the counter. or are "shall issue" for that matter, and as far as I know, each firearm must be individually listed on the license. In Holland, you have to be vetted by the police, be a member of a shooting club or have access to at least 150 acres for hunting, and then the coppers have the right to come into your house at any time of their choosing to check on your firearms and how they are stored (which is it's own set of regulations). VOTE FOR SENATE people, or this will be us in a few short years! When did you move to Idaho? Some are saying you are fresh off the boat from Europe…

I want a Polyfade too. They have the slightly heavier CTR barrel contour… it is a nice rig! No wonder they are heavier. I was trying to figure out why, after looking at it the other day. Looked like a superlite to me in a weird looking stock. Now I see. The heaver barrel will make it nicer shooting off a bench, but out in the field, give me a superlite or regular ol lite. The accuracy difference is only marginal, but you'll feel the difference after carrying it all day in the field.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

A Tikka Veil has the fluted bolt threaded barrel, and a slightly heavier barrel profile and might be a workable substitute. Camo stock in a different pattern but it is stainless under the Cerakote. https://www.sportsmans.com/shooting...bolt-action-rifle-65-prc-243in/p/1687513

I know it's a bit of a longshot, but Tikka makes a particular rifle only offered for sale in Europe. Any of you Campfire folks know if there's any possible way to get my hands on of these? I've called a few Tikka dealers in my area and they weren't of any help. Not sure if shipping from Europe is even an option from a legal standpoint. Any thoughts/recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks all! I know Facebook is forbidden here but there is a Tikka owners group there and someone made a post about finally get their rifle from Europe. I didn't really follow other than noticing it was a pretty long wait, like 9 months
