Fred Gwynne, the guy that played Herman Munster was 6'5" in life. Wearing platform shoes probably wasn't necessary except he was pretty skinny. It must've been pretty hard acting in that getup.
I went to a church trap shoot the other day. I took an sx3 Winchester 20 gauge I b9uhht on clearance at sportsmans years ago but have never shot. I got there late so they said you're up you shoot until you mis one. I shot 25 rounds and then they changed the rules to miss one or 1 box of ammo. They said you're good with that gun and then I told them it's the first time I'd shot it and they didn't believe me.
Next I tried my 12 gauge Beretta a400 and didn't shoot near as well with it. My last 2 berretas didn't pattern where they were aimed so I think I need to go pattern this a400. My first extrema 1 was the best shotgun I'd owned and I wished I still had it. Both extrema 2s patterned low and to the left by over 1 foot at 20 yards from a bench. I think my a400 is just a but left.
I don't shotgun near as much as I used to but now that the kids can hunt birds i'll have to get out more. During my 20s my friends and I all shot ruger single 6 22s a bunch. My friend Brian could hit a bottle out of the air every time. Came in handy because he was charge by a black bear up close once and killed it with a quick shot from the 22 mag cylinder to the brain. I've never been good with a pistol.
