Hard to beat the Beverly Hillbillies for funniest TV show of that era.
Guess ole Jethro aka Max Baer Jr is the only living one left of all the cast.
"Allways speak the truth and you will never have to remember what you said before..." Sam Houston Texans, "We say Grace, We Say Mam, If You Don't Like it, We Don't Give a Damn!"
Y’all remember the episode where Granny wanted to go back home because their was no feuding or fights ? Mr Dryesdale hires a bunch of Hollywood extras to dress up as Indians and attack their Mansion. At the end, there’s a knock on the door, and John Wayne shows up. 🤠

l told my pap and mam I was going to be a mountain man; acted like they was gut-shot. Make your life go here. Here's where the peoples is. Mother Gue, I says, the Rocky Mountains is the marrow of the world, and by God, I was right. - Del Gue
I don't remember that one. I remember one similar, Granny was homesick - tired of the soft living, Drysdale sneeked out a snow- machine and big fans, created a blizzard, had a couple of stuffed timber wolves howling.
I saw a show on A&E,?, years ago that pointed out ''who'' was buying the networks or whatever you call it. In a period of 2-3 years shows went from mayberry rfd, green acres & pettycoat junction, to the partridge family [hippie vibe, no dad] going around in a psychedelic bus, family affair kids living in a high-rise [no mom], Brady bunch mixed family. Everything going more and more liberal at a fast rate, > three's company - supposed gay guy living with two girls, job - working in a bar.
PRESIDENT TRUMP 2024/2028 !!!!!!!!!!

If something on the internet makes you angry the odds are you're being manipulated
Fred Gwynne, the guy that played Herman Munster was 6'5" in life. Wearing platform shoes probably wasn't necessary except he was pretty skinny. It must've been pretty hard acting in that getup.
