She’s correct. Trump has actually proven he has the ability to articulate and provide what the Republican Base has longed for all along. No Republican leader has done this. McConnell and the establishment went against their base to assist democrats in criminally defeating Trump and it will not be forgot nor forgiven.
America is vastly different now than it was when Trump was successfully driven from office. He scares the establishment elite more than anything.
Truth tell, DeSantis was a mediocre congressman and to his credit he has done well in Florida but I do not think any of the base will abandon Trump to follow him especially with the approval of the Republican establishment.
