Last major league base ball game I went to was a Mn Twins opener about six years ago, no snow, but I froze my ass off.

There were 12 kids less than age 7or 8 within 100 yards of my first house and a couple of years later, in a bigger house (the family was growing) there were were at least 24 kids within shouting distance. Lots of cowboys and Indians, baseball and football games, bike races, etc..After I got my BB I could wander around the neighborhood hunting birds and no one said anything…..at least that I know of.

Pretty much the same for our neighborhood. Only person that said anything about our BB guns was a lady down the street that wanted you to concentrate on wood peckers. Someone put a backstop on a vacant lot, that was our ball field. If you put a baseball through someone's window,(Mrs. Anderson, got to love her!) there was no problem getting the ball back...probably get a tray of Cokes with it. We had about 7 moms we could call on if we needed something and they would treat you like you belonged to them. Had to be home before the street lights came on. Never knew we were supposed to hate someone that was different and we didn't.
