When you get tired of those big fancy restaurants, try Big Kahunas. Get a sammich or one of their huge personal pizzas. They are under the freeway underpass across from the airport.

Diamond Head was a great hike. Incredible view from up there. Pearl Harbor is a must.

The Polynesian cultural center in Laie is expensive but they put on a good night show. You can spend a whole day there and do the buffet before the shoe if you want. When I lived there a Ukrainian girl Illiana that I was dating a bit ran the image. She used to let me in after hours to listen to cds on the imax sound system. I have some good memories there.
The center supports a lot of very poor students from around the world that eould likely never get to go to a university without it. They help pay for their schooling by working at the center. I made some incredible Polynesian friends when I lived there. Great people if you give them a chance. They taught me a bit about the importance of taking time for people.
