Anyone using one of these? A buddy picked one up and we need to get it running.
Thanks,
Okie John
If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

SIL dumped a nice bull elk in NM with one back in October. IIRC, not a bang flop. But only took one or two steps. ~360 yards.

Noslers load with a 175 PT or a Hornady 175 ELD shot pretty well with H1000. It was 3100+. Not too speed but accurate and consistent.

175 eld’s and 180 hybrids with Retumbo have never been hard to get to shoot in the (3) 28 noslers that I have owned.

H1000 and 180’s at around 3050 produce .25-.3” three shot groups out of multiple rifles with Proof Carbon wrapped barrels. Higher velocities possible but not as accurate.
Retumbo excellent but none around.
