Vanson are made to use and will get you to the gates and back. Good Wear Leather has nice wares based on original contract designs. Probably the closest to the real thing. Good Wear Leather

Take a look at Aero, they have a lot of somewhat period correct styles. Aero LeatherJohnson Leathers in San Francisco will make about anything you want. They quoted me a jacket one time that wasn't out of line. Johnson Leathers

Yeah, Overland catalogues to 5X, and Flightjackets will custom build to spec. I'm actually looking for a jacket for a 6'3"/220 son. But I always check out the adult sizes while I'm looking.

There was a leather store just off base in Incirlik Turkey. They had some nice jackets that lots of guys bought. Never heard how long they held up. Price was right 20 years ago.
