Looking to upgrade my well worn Omega, keep looking at the Vortek, anyone have experience w it? TU !!

Be hard to beat that Omega.
Have you thought about any of the aftermarket upgraded parts?
The last time that bear ate a lawyer he had the runs for 33 days!

I like the hammer less design of the traditions, my omega loses accuracy w loads over 100gr, like a hand removable breech plug.
There's always hope as long as there's lead in the air.

Any particular reason you want loads of over 100 grains?
I haven't shot over 100 grains but from a lot of what I read on the net it's not at all uncommon for groups to open up when loading over 100 grains. Not sure if the high pressure sabots would cure this or not.
I don't know if there is a hand removable breech plug for the Omega.
Let me know if that Omega becomes available. Could be interested.
