Not sure if I'm with or countering Deflave, but the eggs are a great example of why we like it. We have little counterspace, and it is on some of it. Wouldn't go to the basement to get the pressure cooker for 6 eggs.
Pecker around with the jiggler timing them....

Put them in the Instapot, water, set if for 5 minutes, and when it beeps wait
5. Not huge, but easier. Because it does so much it can sit there waiting.
We don't have to juggle, the crock, the pressure cooker......

For a young couple starting out, they would be great.

It's also great for baked potatoes

LOL

An insta pot??

Don't knock it till you try it. Put a cup of water in, place potatoes on the trivet and set it for 20-25 minutes depending on the size of the potato. The best way to make them in my opinion

Hell...if you are gonna do it wrong...why not just microwave one?

Oil the skin, coarse kosher salt, wrap and bake in oven or on grill.

If you can't make a hard boiled egg with a pot and some water, the Insta-Pot is a perfect fit.

Not about boiling them, dump them from the pot into ice water.
Never had a single one be hard to shell.
The pressure helps break down the membrane.
Works better than just a pot.

Instant Pot is way better than oven. You don't get the crispy skin, but the actual potato is cooked much better
