So amongst all the firearms from the auctions I have added this model 24 SAVAGE, MODEL: 24V SERIES B, CALIBER:30-30 WIN/ 20 G X 3" My first one was a 50's vintage 22lr/410, so will be nice to see how this one does, for some deer hunting and grouse should be good, and one can use pointy bullets in them.π³

Those V's sure got a lot heaver than the 24's in .22 or .22 mag. over the shotgun barrel.
My other auto is a .45

I've some that shot pretty well and others that were frustratingly inconsistent.

Mornin, had one for trapline use. The extractor would slip past the empty case, (30-30 or 20ga) can't remember which. With the extractor raised above case it was a pain to even get the case out with your jack knife. The grove was sort of rounded & the gun smith re-cut it on the mill. Just a heads up!
