Mil vs MOA not being relevant in the question but I was surprised it took an hour to get you to bite. I almost reeled in and changed bait. Some fish are pretty easy to catch....and some will hit again and again Bite #1

I'm looking real hard at one of these as well. I just bought an Athlon helos btr G2 2-12 for one of my rifles. I like it a lot. I have new Tikka 308 coming and need a scope for it. Thought I might try the arken on that one. Decisions, decisions. It looks like arken scopes are getting good reviews. It looks like a lot of bang for the buck.

My 6-24 came last week. Very nice scope with Jap ED glass. Arken has it's own manufacturing facility in China, don't know how that came to be, but it's an American scope from China. This thing has very positive clicks and I've compared it to a Sightron, if anything it's a bit better optically. Also with a 30mm tube and smaller knobs it's noticeably lighter and less large than the SH 6-24. It hits way above it's price point. I'll be ordering another.

Well after reading your report, I have one on order now too. (epl4-4-16x44-ffp-mil-vhr) I figure at the price they are selling for they are worth a try.

Which scope between Arken and Athlon has the better glass? I have a Athlon on order but it hasn't arrived yet.

During an video interview at the shot show, one of the principals of Arken mentioned them having their own manufacturing facility in China. Email them and ask to explain.

Not that it matters at all as far as how good they are. Like I stated, just struck me as a bit of humorous oxymoronica.

Can someone please play fetch with a child using this scope as a stick! I need to know how durable it is.
