Hard to beat 4 ounces of TSS #9's !!! 😁

Wanna talk about how many in the 10" at 40 ?????????

😳😳😳

LMAO!!!!!
Tightly choked, I can imagine hundreds! But I can also imagine chilled lead #8's or #9's either one would resemble an approaching thunderhead!!!!! ....and just as effective as the TSS.

But then, I've been using #8's since I started turkey hunting.
It only takes "ONE" shot to the brain or CNS to anchor a bird. I prefer pattern density over larger shot.

You posted a pic of a tag, not the bird, and no evidence of where you killed the bird. If you killed it Powhatan as you claim, you probably shot it over bait. That's the worst rural county in Virginia for turkey hunting.

And post a pic of anything you've killed this year, other than, say, a pile of 5ths you've killed.

More than what you think, Mighty Whitey. As Renegade said, you've turned yourself into a Pariah on this forum. From this forum, to ruining peoples classified ads, to the absolutely retarded comments you've made in the reloading forum. You literally are the Campfire joke.

Here's an article (the site no longer exists) I wrote for "charlieelk" several years ago.

https://images.app.goo.gl/FYP2FumUq117UAJa9

Unless I'm hunting feral hogs, deer or home intruders*, the biggest shot I use is #6's. For turkeys, I prefer #8's and have a few #9 TSS for my .410 to use on turkeys.

* - for ferals, deer and home intruders, I use #1 buckshot!

I surely won't disagree that lead #8's will kill a turkey. I did it about 3 years ago............but by mistake. Just so happens that 2.75" Federal 7/8 ounce low brass #8's are the same color as 3" Heavyweight #7's................. No issues. Bang. Flop. That's what clued me in........... It flopped. They almost never do when hit with the Heavy 7's.

What bothers me about lead 8's is that a MAJORITY of guys couldn't hold off the gas pedal if the bird hung at 40 or 45 yards (and THAT is TOO FAR for lead 8's). But EVERYONE...........you, me, Joe Blow and even Luther...........can, at times, mis-judge distance. In that case, #8 lead is not gonna save your bacon like larger lead or a HTL pellet.
