Good afternoon, thanks for the news even though it's not good news.
We saw him and Corb Lund on Jan. 11, 2018 in the Vogue theater in Vancouver.
He was having a tough time singing some of the notes then, but it was a pretty decent show.
Happy New Year despite this.
Dwayne

huntsman;
Afternoon sir, I hope you're doing well down there.
I actually had clients who lived near him and knew him reasonably well.
After he left the Ian and Sylvia days, he absolutely did turn into a rancher.
Another favorite of mine, though it's hard for me to pick one for sure.

Best to you in the New Year huntsman.

Ian Tyson was a cowboy songwriter and real cowboy. Not this twangy crap they play now. I played his songs at my ranch when I got up in the morning, when I came in for lunch and at night when I was in from working the day. He was a real favorite of mine. I like his ballads. I'm listening to "Four Strong Winds" right now. "Magpie" will be next. Then maybe "Claude Dallas". RIP cowboy, from one to another, thanks for the songs.

Bummer. Guess he didn't make it to the 2023 dead pool? Although, them Canucks have a weird calendar, what with Boxing Day, and Canadian Thanksgiving and all.
