Anyone make something like this? Want to mount a red dot in a rear dovetail.

Yes. I just a Youtube video on it last night. Now if I can just find it again... https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dovetail+to+picatinny+rail+adapterThe guy was putting a red dot on a Glock 23 by using the dovetailfor the rear sight.

Weaver used to make one as well, but it was secured with a setscrew into the top of the receiver, so might mar the finish

Well I meant like a rear sight dovetail to a picatinny. The base would have to have a male dovetail on the bottom and a slotted rail up top. The red dot is a Sig Romeo 5.
