First one was 13 years. My high school sweetheart. I asked her to marry me when we were 16. NEVER let a 16 year old make decisions for the rest of your life.
Second one going on 22 years. She still turns heads when we walk into a place, so it kinda makes her craziness bearable.

When it comes to marriage, the first one, I was an idiot... I was 27 and my mom was on my ass like a chicken on a worm... complained incessantly that I had enough education, and I needed to settle down and get married... all of her friends had grandchildren and she didn't.... and as her oldest son...( the second one died at 16) I OWED her... and never shut up....
So I married someone I thought I could get along with... after 3 months of marriage, she turned into her mother.. who was one of the most useless women I've ever known. I was married to " Her Royal Fat Ass" for a 1000 yrs, but we crammed that all into 8 years....
Second one.. we'd been together 8 years and had a 4 year old son, before I got married to her... and only did that because she got instant after 8 years...we've been married since Dec 30 1998. She drives me nuts often, but then I often wonder why she has the patience with me that she does..
Figure she's too far into it to start over and try to break another one in, so she just stays....
Besides all of my social security goes into a bank account far away from here, its for her when I'm no longer around....so she wants that.
So she stays around... She doesn't deserve me... she deserves someone much better than me....
I've got a decent wife now... she's stuck with a crappy husband...

Third marriage...
First one was a hot ass 5'7" bombshell. Loved the outdoors, hunting fishing, camping , all of it...and dick..
She really like the D....anybodys... lasted 3 yrs, somehow no children
2nd wife, 9 years 3 kids..home, property, ect..
She lost her fugging mind...got on the dope and ran off with some dude. Took a while to get past that circus.
3rd and current wife of 31 years..She had a daughter when we meet.. we have a son together. She keeps me on my toes! Good woman , great wife..

I personally know FOUR (4) guys who were married for 25 plus years whose wives up and left them, divorced
One caught his cheater wife
The other three were surprises

She's my life! On top of that^^^ She has been at my mothers house all morning figuring out WTF went wrong over the past month since mom fell and broke her hip. When I was there at 7AM mom was begging me NOT to take her to the Dr and that she was "ready & good with it, had lived a full life" Wife won't be such a pushover!

👍🏼 All you middle aged guys, pay attention. Muggy makes a very important point. Half of all divorces happen while at least one partners in their mid-life crisis. Increasingly this is the woman. They want a new lifestyle and figure out they can fund it with half the guys stuff, and up to 70% of his future income. This is one reason why today, women file 70-80% of all divorces. In marriages where the women has a BA or higher they file 90% of the divorces. 40% of all first time marriages fail within the first 10 years. The longest study I've seen was a 40 year study, and over the period 60% of first time marriages failed. So don't think that just because you made it to the 20 year mark you're out of the woods, because you are not, not even close.
