I like the looks of the Holosun and I hear great things about them. What did that one cost? I’m waiting for my Sightron to arrive but I’ll probably get a couple more at that price….but if I do I’ll order from Doug.

Will the Sightron STS-2 red dot sight fit the footprint of the Burris Fastfire III sight? See Camera Land has them for $119.99 and will order one if will fit this footprint. Thanks if anyone knows.

Thanks Dave, do you know what footprint I would need for the Sightron sight? Want to mount it on a Stevens 301 20 gauge. Thanks.

Looks like the deal is for the 6 MOA sight right? Midway?…that deal was for the 2MOA Doug showed both the 2 and 6 MOA versions yesterday. I’m only interested in a 2 because like I said….with a 6MOA at the distance I plan to use it I can do that with both eyes open and no sights. 😉

Which is better for turkey hunting in the Sightron STS-2 red dot sight.....the MOA 2 or the 6? Does not both go to a larger/smaller red dot if switch is pushed?

Two came yesterday and five more arrived today. All 2 MOA. I bought one some months ago on sale from Doug for $200 that direct shipped from Sightron and was pretty impressed. They are a nice piece IMO.

Just curious what you guys think is the best option for mounting one of these on a S&W or Ruger double-action revolver:
1. Use the included picatinny adapter and buy a short pic rail such as the Weig-A-Tinny Mini mount 2. Forget the included picatinny adapter and buy a dedicated mount such as the Allchin Mini STS mount
I have both an Allchin and a full-length Weig-A-Tinny on other revolvers and both seem to be well-made, solid mounts. While the Allchin would result in a cleaner look, the Weigand is more versatile (and cheaper).
One more question: If choosing the Allchin, which would look better; stainless (if mounting on a stainless gun) or black, which would blend with the Sightron and would thus look "right" on either a stainless or a blued gun?
