never understood why the didn't put it in fish oil which is supposed to be really good for you. I guess it would drive the cost up.

Have some tuna in vegetable oil?

Walmart seems to have quit carrying their tuna in vegetable oil. We use about 12 cans a year for salmon bait.

The difference is in what you plan to do with it.

A baked dish is better with tuna in oil.

A sandwich better with water.

Olive oil with red chili’s. Had an Italian brand I liked when working in the sand box.

I'm glad that the topic was specified as tuna fish to avoid confusion with all of the other tunas out there.

As to tuna itself, the only tuna worth messing with is Al's Backdoor (albacore).

Next time I make Tuna Casserole will try it with oil. You right about sandwiches don't like it with oil.
