Maybe. I was in Korea for 15 months and ate quite a bit of street food.

I was just watching the free state of Jones movie and my 10 year old freaked out because they shot the slave hunters and their dogs and then ate the dogs.

I told them if I was starving in a swamp and someone sent dogs after me I'd do the same. The kids were not happy with that response.

They were fine with people being killed but don't hurt the dogs. Their mom is the same. I like dogs but if ones coming after me I'll put it down if can. And if I'm really starving I'd eat it.

Does coyote count? If so, then YES. It was good, think it was stir fried, with whole grain rice and veggies. PORK.

An American woman I know was to spend a year in Southern China and wanted a pet. She went to the local street market and found a little dog. She bought it and it was given to her cleaned. Asians unless very rich do not keep domestic pets

Probably…if I had to guess. But I’d NEVER knowingly eat one.

Who Knows what they are eating for Sure.

Ever notice that there are Veterinary Clinics close by the Ornimental Restaurants.

They get an unending supply of meat that way.

No idea. When I moved from offshore Caspian Sea to on shore Atyrau Kazakhstan on the banks of the Ural River I really wanted to cook, chili in particular as I settled. I brought all of the spices I thought I would need for what I liked to eat... A fairly dangerous place as the day ended I found a few markets within safe walking distance. Each was maybe 40" x 40" with two walls of vodka. The other walls were meat and canned/bottled stuff. I looked at the meat and there were 5 piles of ground meat, labeled and priced local. I had no clue, they spoke no English but figured it for chili all should be fine. It was, for more two years.

Not for sure but we had a guy that made a soup/ stew every day on one of the sites I worked on in Northern Russia. I asked what was in it and was told not to ask and throw the bones out the window. We had several wild dogs running around the area, their population dropped that summer.

One Sunday afternoon in 1971 after spending time with my friend Johnnie Walker Red , I bought Girlfriend Me and myself some sort of a meatball taco . Mamasan cooking meatballs over a hibachi in the small village. Rice paper ,onions , lettuce , tiny hot peppers, , meatballs---- After getting it down I found out it wasn't pork

I was going to write: "tastes like chiken". In reality, it tastes like northern spotted owl or maybe a little like baby seals.
