What kind of velocity are you getting with that H335/SST combo.

Please share you load with this combo. Wanting to use same in the CZ527. Mine shoots the 129 ABLR great with CFE223 but I want to use a more temp resistant powder.

Thanks in advance,

Not the accubomb, but prefer the good old, been around forever, Hornady 129 grain SP...with AR Comp, and Hornady brass, I use 28 grains of AR Comp for that load... velocity is in the 2580 fps range IIRC.
That’s just a bit under the velocity I’m getting with that bullet out of my .260 Rem Encore pistol barrel and I can attest to its perfect performance on deer out to at least 300 yards. It’s been a fantastic bullet for me for shooting deer

I'll have to look up my notes, may be a few days before I get the chance.

Yeah I’ve used the 120 and 123 load data as well for 6.5 Grendel AR and my Howa Mini. Accurate 2520 has been preferred powder in both rifles, and TAC has done Ok. Now BL-C(2), nothing I’ve ran it in has it liked it. Got a buddy that loves it in several different cartridges, my experience is just the opposite.

At least, this is the "conventional wisdom." I'm shooting a pair of ARs in 6mm Predator / 6mm AR / .243 LBC (daddy of the 6mm ARC in reality) these days, and it's the same story. I haven't trashed a bolt yet.

All's well here, and I'm looking at telling the employer to KMA pretty damned soon. The light at the end of the tunnel shines a little brighter each morning.

in the Army we called that Short Timers Disease.. I'm sure the Navy had a similar term for it...

I'm a bolt action guy anyway....If I was going to build an AR in the Grendal, I'd think an AR 10 action.. tougher bolt and plenty of magazine length.. but its the campfire... I'm sure someone will be along to tell me the errors of my ways...probably Schtick.. he loves telling everyone who doesn't worship at his alter, and don't do things his ways, of what " dumb f u k s" they are....HINT...

Selmer old buddy, In 6.5 mm ( say like my 260s or my couple of Swedes) I could exist happily on the 100, 120, 140 Ballistic Tips and the 125 and 140 partitions... but I bet the ones I would most often use in the hunting fields are the 129 and 140 SP Hornadys and the Remington 140 grain Corelokt...

the last bullet, I am surprised how accurate it is...but then for like $75 a long time ago, some on line retailer sold me 2500 or so of them, evidently on a close out or overstock...

I bought a complete upper from Grendel Hunter and it shoots best with 120 Ballistic Tips and BL-C(2) or TAC.
