Sadly, my sister rejected my suggestions for her offspring.

I wanted to call the female Denise, and the male Denephew.

Best I came across was

Sputnik Eisenhower Watkins.

Just by the name you knew what was in the news and who was president when he was born.

His friends called him Nick.

I read a very similar news story about a near identical name to that. The mother had named her daughter "La - A". The news story was all about how angry the mother was that nobody would pronounce it correctly when they saw it and, even worse, since it was pronounced "Ladasha", she was angry that nobody spelled it correctly when told her name. I was thinking as I was reading the story "how can this be a surprise to this woman?".

GA cop turned truck driver said he arrested a mother and the daughters names were La mon ja low and Or an ja low. When he asked for spelling it was Lemonjello and Orangejello.

I worked in a camp in upstate Wisconsin a couple of summers with a woman named Penny Nickel. We called her "Sixcent".

My wife had to go to college to learn how to spell her own name.

My mother in law taught her to spell it differently than what is on her birth certificate. The college admins caught the discrepancy and made her resubmit documents using her real name.

Retired teacher, I've seen a few.

Brick

Shadow, He joined the military after HS and wanted to work for the CIA.

A set of twins, Lemonjello, Orangejello. (Lemon Jello and Orange jello). I see that someone else above met them.

Another set of twins, both names spelled Debra. but one was pronounced Du-bre-uh, the other Du-bri-uh.

La-A, pronounced Ladasha.

Four brothers named Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in birth order.

Beaver Packer. At least that is what the PA announcer called him when he made a tackle against us in a HS football game.

Alaska, A sweet girl, one of my favorites.

Canyon

Registrar at wife’s school had child with an unusual name. Registrar asked child’s mother if it was a family name. She said no she got it from a book she had read. Mom pronounced the name "Shi-theed." It was spelled Sh*thead! Hasbeen

A guy I worked with named his daughter Joplin because his wife liked Janis Joplin. We nearly got in a fist fight when I told him my honest opinion of the name choice.

Also worked as a principal with Choctaws on the rez. Had a kid with no first name on his BC. The mother and kid were released from the hospital before they decided on a name. NO NAME JEFFERSON was on the kids BC when he entered kindergarten. My guidance counselor helped to get that change. Big headache but the counselor’s mother worked for Social Security and helped sort out this mess along with tribal lawyer.
