Tomorrow is the last day of our fall/winter turkey season, but I have my limit and can't take another bird legally until spring. So I am going to go out for squirrel. They're in season till the end of February. I'm taking my new used H&R 20 gauge single shot. Got my new man-purse loaded with #4 shot shells, snack, water, knife, flashlight and lighter. Got a couple of squirrel calls. Got a hardwood stand in mind. It's supposed to be nice. Should be a fun day. Might do a little exploring on another tract of the state forest I hunt.

I may go for cottontails tomorrow. If I do, I'll be taking my J.C. Higgins 16 gauge SxS.

Lots of bunnies where I hunt. If I see one and can get a shot, it's coming home with me.

I'm butchering a deer tomorrow. See deer hunting thread....ha

Sounds like a fine day. I might not have hunted tomorrow, but the wife and her lady friends are playing Bunco. And I've got no outside work that needs doin'.

This place is in a mall that was formerly a nice place to go. For a couple decades, now, it's been where the ghetto goes to take indoor target practice at rival gang members. Lat time I had to go there (close 20 years ago) I was carrying 3 Glocks and a spare mag for each one. Can't see tomorrow's gameplan being significantly different.

Probably only carry 2 tomorrow. But 2 or 3 spare mags for the one.

Malls require at least one Glock, full mag, with a spare. When I'm shopping with the wife, in a mall or Walmart, I have my Glock 19, and two mags loaded with 147 grain Gold Dots. When you have a daughter to protect, 30 rounds as a absolute minimum. More preferable.

I'm never ANYWERE without my G29, strong side, and a spare mag.

Today the G23 and a pair of spares will be along for the ride, weak side, as well.

My neighbor was Army Special Forces and got a leg blown off over in the sand box. He is a really cool guy and we talk often. I will never forget his comment one day when we were talking. "Anybody that has ever been in a fire fight, has never said, Dang I have too much ammo"! I took it to heart and have always carried 2 extra mags ever since.

I don't think I've been in a mall in at least 20 years. Thankfully my youngest turned 28 back in October and I don't have to deal with teenagers anymore.

Good choice. My G20 and G29 are my sometimes outdoor bear country guns. Able to deal with black bears and rednecks. You can get yourself an XGrip and run G20 mags in your G29 and have a comfortable grip.
